Even the very working of your brains makes a noise.

If you go to the quietest place you can find, and you listen very carefully, you'll find that it's still filled with sound and life. If afterwards you find the quietest place in the world, and listen again, you'll find that you fill the space with sound and life. Reaching calm and peace is a matter of understanding that life and noise.

No fear, I'm sure the science world will soon figure out the ultimate earplug. But even total silence can sure be noisy...

I've heard it's deafening.

Actually, silence is the ONLY thing that's deafening, as it's the only situation in which hearing is rendered moot.

There is serenity in Chaos; seek ye the eye of the Hurricane.

I usually hear my stomach then. It demands food.
