You asked: Why is the Crowdsource Tarot such a jerk?

The Basis:
Hyena, reversed
A spotted hyena takes down a zebra, crushing its bones with powerful jaws.
Meaning: Run. Now.

The Situation:
Network, reversed
A fisher in a flying boat casts a net forth, trying to catch from a school of flying laptop computers. Mystical symbols show on their screens.
Meaning: It is easy to get tangled up in distractions, so you should focus tightly on what is important to you.

The Outcome:
An earthquake shakes a small town street, toppling the people walking by. A large crack appears in the sidewalk.
Meaning: Things are changing. Wait and see what the new situation is before proceeding.

circuit_four: Counterpoint! (er, sort of)

You asked: Hello. Are you evil, or just misunderstood?

The Basis:
A woman sits with her left hand on a keyboard, her monitor full of pictures of bridges and gears. The pictures spill off the screen into reality; with her right hand, she is using a wrench on a nut in the real half.
Meaning: Make a good plan, but don't be a slave to it.

The Situation:
A thriving community of people share a potluck dinner. Children are playing happily nearby, and two friends are hugging.
Meaning: Rely on your chosen family for peace, safety, and refuge from the trials of the world.

The Outcome:
Emergence (Alpha of States)
A tiny iridescent dragon hatches from a mottled green egg.
Meaning: Something wonderful is about to begin!

I'm starting to think the thing's got delusions of grandeur. Every time I've seen somebody ask a question involving the deck itself, it always refers to how important and amazing it is or will be.

Oh, you had to go and draw its attention to you, didn't you. (shakes head) Well, it's been a slice...
