Are all short indy-games about death? Or is it just the ones I've been seeing lately?

Eversion was pretty tricky. I played it all the way to the end, and even got the True Ending. Really interesting experience, but kinda distrubing. XD

That's by design! Although the true ending is hilarious and strangely adorable after the bad ending.

Well, everything had a darker side in the darker dimensions, so it makes sense that the hero would have a dark hero side in another dimension as well.

It's not the dark side, it's reality. It's what we weren't able to face at the start, but now we know the truth.

What if that's just like the world we live in? What if we were, should be wise enough to open our consciousness and senses enough to see it, just like the characters of Eversion? Would either of us be able to face that? Would you be willing to live as a terrible knot of intelligent, living, darkness, or something worse? Would you still relate to your friends, lovers, family, and neighbours if you were all monsters?

Lovecraft never thought about that. That's because he didn't get to play this game.

I dunno, if everybody was like that I don't think it would be quite as bad.
