We are now talking about ice cream for some reason. PART 2

So a little while ago relee got me going on ice cream, and made me wonder if there was such a thing as green tea ice cream. Spoiler: there is! I actually found out that it's a Hågåån-DååZ variety, surprisingly. So, what the hell, usually I don't like them that much, but I decided to give it a go. It was much like I expected! It could have easily been better, and I think a green tea gelato would be more successful, but it is what it is.

Ooh. Chai tea ice cream. Not as in "with a splash of" or "containing delicate hints of", I mean outright chai tea ice cream. It has to exist because it is perfect. If it doesn't, I may have to actually get into making ice cream just to solve the problem.

EDIT: did a quick google search on the subject and apparently, it's one of the types that people do, in fact, like to make at home. It's also sold commercially, too, and a few regional coffee shops are also selling it, along with like raspberry mocha ice cream and stuff. This is why we're fat, guys. XD

masstreble: hip California lady

Troll the local cafes in your area: where you're at, you're bound to find some eventually. If I lived in Anchorage, I would do the same thing, but it feels weird to drive for an hour just to sneak around cafe-- WAIT KOLADI BROTHERS! I'm in there all the time, because it's connected to the used bookstore! I'll check to see if they've gotten into the frozen sugar-bomb market yet.

However, aside from that one intersection of Tim Horton-style cafe that has started selling frozen products, chai tea ice cream seems to be a fringe thing right now. It's why it's such a popular homebrew item.
