Family PC problems are not the source of my non-happies, FYI.

Alright, so I didn't enjoy the weekend. In fact, I didn't enjoy it in the slightest. It was terrible.

On another note, I've been trying to recover my dear ol' dad's computer. It suffers from several trojans, viruses, hundreds of spyware, and other problems. I installed Mozilla Firefox so he can actually use the Internet, Kerio Personal Firewall from stopping anything else from getting in, StatBar to give us a better idea of what's going on in there, and Ad-Aware to actually clean out a bunch of the gunk. Tomorrow, I'm going to give the thing another run through Housecall.

*Beats the whole family* Can't even take care of a computer on dial-up?! Aaaargh! XO

I spent hours this weekend cleaning that taskbar search thing out... it took, like, four seperate programs to do the entire job, and I was only able to do it at *all* because I found a tutorial x.x;

down near your start menu, you can have on the "taskbar" a little search menu. Well like your internet explorer/mozilla/navigator, it builds up a history... only it's a little harder to empty this one.
