Family PC problems are not the source of my non-happies, FYI.

Alright, so I didn't enjoy the weekend. In fact, I didn't enjoy it in the slightest. It was terrible.

On another note, I've been trying to recover my dear ol' dad's computer. It suffers from several trojans, viruses, hundreds of spyware, and other problems. I installed Mozilla Firefox so he can actually use the Internet, Kerio Personal Firewall from stopping anything else from getting in, StatBar to give us a better idea of what's going on in there, and Ad-Aware to actually clean out a bunch of the gunk. Tomorrow, I'm going to give the thing another run through Housecall.

*Beats the whole family* Can't even take care of a computer on dial-up?! Aaaargh! XO

That's when you download spybot
That takes care of the shizzle that ad-aware doesn't, but it runs slower when there's a lot of stuff to search through, so I advise using ad-aware first, and then upon completion, use Spybot - Search and Destroy, to get rid of the rest of the junk on your computer.
