Throw in the bits about our responsibility of the people to overthrow the system if they find it unjust. =) I think a system that serves the powerful few- even just the majority- needs to be changed so that it serves all. John Locke philosophy, wasn't it? And I'm probably wrong. I do not know who is who in governmental philosophy...

how many people do you think would become outraged that we *gasp* were trying to overthrow the corrupt government! They'd think we were...some evil other form of government, or terrorists! Not good citizens of course.....and of course we'd never get to them unless everyone fought....-.-;;;

That doesn't mean we actually GET it. We just keep running after it until we die. -_- Then our children, if we have any, will chase it in our place, until they die, and the process continues.
