OMG! Bear is driving! How can that be?

So I've been reading [Bad username in LJ tag]'s journal for some time, and (for the most part) I largely agree what xie has to say. [Bad username in LJ tag] just recently posted this, though, and I think xie went a bit too far. I'm sorry, but that attitude is a just tad too hostile and extreme, and it just won't fix the situation (should a problem actually arise, anyhow). I think people are overreacting about it in general, though. However, as you can clearly see on [Bad username in LJ tag]'s journal, xie has a lot of influence, and is just throwing fuel on the fire.

I actually saw you posting these kinds of comments all over the place. Seriously, journals don't "go stale", so could you tell me why the big move? You can send an email to me about it, if the public space concerns you.

I dunno. I kind of felt it did go stale. All the posts were much different than what I used to be. My old posts come off really young, and I kind of wanted to make a break from it. It was filled with me falling head over heels for girls and making a fool of myself. I wanted a new name, and just some sort of change I guess. No real big story.

I understand. After the LJ team added the tags feature, I went back through my journal and ended up making most of it private. In effect, I completely re-worked history. :{ Then again, there was a lot of embaressing stuff back there. I've changed for the better over these three years...
