Plays well with others.

acertaindoebear found something fun. What a way to waste a few hours! Of course, I'm doing more important things, but not when I got the link.

Speaking of acertaindoebear, xie kind of intimidates me. It isn't something xie is doing, rather something I seem to be doing. I keep saying things that could have been phrased better or not said at all every time acertaindoebear is reading. It makes me feel real awkward. A curse, perhaps?

acertaindoebear: Alienation: Building a Stronger Body in 12 Ways

"If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended:
That you have but slumbered here
While these visions did appear.
And this weak and idle theme,
No more yielding but a dream..."

I don't know why you'd think that, m'dear. I'd be innerested in hearing your thoughts on that one.

Mmm, I think "Midsummer Night's Dream" is my favourite of the (supposed) bard's (supposed) plays.

I'm kind of paranoid about seeming an ass online. I've got a long history of both that being that case, and being paranoid about it. Well, that, and you're kind of hard to read, so it played uncomfortably well into my old complex.

How did you find this old post, anyhow? Compulsively reading random Livejournal late at night?

acertaindoebear: Exploring the Complex

One of my favourite Shakespeare stories was one written by Neil Gaiman in one of his Sandman stories. It's *very* touching (riffing on how Shakespeare got his inspiration--a kind-hearted jibe to those critics who say that Shakespeare isn't the real author), like most of his stories are to me (both of the authors').

I like your complex; it is quite extensive. I especially like the root beer fountain and the garden of heck, where the statues of the Serpent and Adam dance, always.

And as to how I found this post? Patience and serendipity; it turns out there is a positive side to having such an obscure LJ name -:) I've even been able to find out these 'news services' that collect seemingly random LJ entries. The 'net is indeed strange and bizarre.
